Agency Case # 2007-7473 April 10, 2007 WALLINGFORD : TD BANK NORTH Case Details
The Wallingford Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the person responsible for an attempted armed robbery of the TD Bank located at 2 North Main Street, Wallingford, on 04-10-07. The suspect is described as a white male 20-40 years of age, 5’8”-6’2” tall, wearing blue jeans, a dark colored long sleeve shirt, baseball cap, and sunglasses. This person walked up to the drive up teller station and inserted a note into the service canister. The note demanded cash and indicated that an explosive device had been placed outside the bank. After depositing the note the suspect walked away from the teller window on foot.
On 04-11-07 at 1230 hours, a lone male entered the TD Bank located at 500 Main Street, Middlefield and passed a note in another attempted robbery. It appears that the same suspect perpetrated both robberies. CSP Case #07-138800.
