Unknown w/m in his 40's with a medium build and approximately 5'8-5'10" tall wearing a blue baseball cap, a green coat, and large dark sunglasses entered the Stop and Shop located at 42 Town St., Norwich St. and robbed the Peoples bank within. The w/m approached the counter and told the teller he had a .38 caliber weapon on him and pulled his coat away from his body as if to expose a weapon. No weapon was observed however. He then told the teller to give him all her money, including what's in the bottom drawer. The teller said "Ok" to which the w/m said "I know it's ok, you don't have a choice, I have a weapon". The w/m then took the money that he was given, put it in a plastic shopping bag, and exited the store. He entered a small red 4 dr. compact car similar to a Geo Prizm and left the area. The car had two bumper stickers on the bumper, one of which had the word "Marine" on it. If you have any information about the identity of this person or where they are, please contact:
